A site dedicated to aviation photography

Aircraftpix is established to give a group of photographers a place to showcase some of their photos on the internet. In the past years we have been making several thousands of pictures without a place to show them to rest of the world. Now that is changed and the pictures are made available all over the world.

During the years we have visited numerous aviation events and we have visited airfields all over the world, from northern Europe until the arctic regions. Among the places we have visited are some very challenging locations like Axalp shooting range in Switzerland, Salisbury plain in the united Kingdom and the low flying areas (LFA’s) in Wales.

The newer reports are presented in the menu bar and are split up into a military section and a a civil section. Pictures from the previous years can be found in the picture database. We have also included an aircraft photography item, which will be filled with tips and tricks on how to get the best of your aircraft photography experience. The tips we give you have helped us in the past to get better pictures.

The equipment used to make the pictures are all digital SLR bodies and high end lenses, made by Canon, Nikon and Sigma. If you want to know who uses the equipment, please visit our “about us” section. There u can find all the equipment we use.
